About Us

Welcome to the King Street Housing Society

We are a registered provider of social housing based in the centre of the historic university city of Cambridge. The Society was founded in 1966 by members of the University to provide much-needed affordable housing for local residents.
With house prices in the Cambridge area continuing to rise, the demand for affordable housing has never been greater. The Society now manages around 800 homes and provides rent guarantee schemes for three local authorities.
We are proud of the range of services that we provide and of the success we have had in using the private rented sector to provide affordable housing solutions.

Our mission is to provide quality homes and excellent housing services within the Cambridgeshire sub region.
