Residents: get involved
The Society actively encourages resident involvement. A list of the things that we do now is shown below.
- Two resident members sit on the Committee of Management.
- We carry out 60 tenant telephone surveys every year.
- We support and fund residents’ groups, including neighbourhood watch groups
- We consult over major works and security issues. For example, – window replacement programmes, and kitchen and bathroom programmes where tenants deal direct with our partnering contractors to make choices
- We issue four newsletters a year with information about our services and seeking resident feedback
- We send end of tenancy surveys to all departing tenants
- We provide on- site comment boxes at Robert Jennings Close and Cockcroft Place
- We send repair satisfaction slips to all residents who report a repair
- We carry out a full tenant survey every three years
- We provide a comments, complaints and compliments book in reception
