The Society provides a variety of services to landlords, offering leasing arrangements in selected local authority areas or a full management service. In conjunction with South Cambridgeshire, East Cambridgeshire and Uttlesford local authorities, we can offer tenancy guarantees and may be able to provide repair grants to bring properties up to standard.
Private Leasing
The Society is a leader in the Private Leasing market.
We have been running private leasing schemes for over sixteen years and provide a leasing service to Cambridge City Council, South Cambridgeshire District Council, Huntingdonshire District Council, East Cambridgeshire District Council and Cambridgeshire County Council.
Private leasing provides temporary housing for homeless people and key workers.
How does it work?
Leased properties are owned privately. We take on a two to five year lease where we guarantee:
- Monthly rental payments at an agreed rate (regardless of whether the property is occupied or not)
- High standards of maintenance and management
- Guaranteed handback of properties in good condition
- Agency service for agreed improvement works
The Society takes on responsibility for all aspects of property management. All you have to do is own the property and count your income! Our service provides real peace of mind to owners.
We are interested in taking on leases on properties in Cambridgshire and surrounding villages which are in good condition and ready to let.
